Live Love Sport Ltd are delighted to be able to work with Prostate Cancer UK as our chosen charity for 2020. The backstory to this partnership is quite personal with both Steve's father and father-in-law both suffering from Prostate Cancer over the last 3 years.
During the process of coming to terms with the illness in this situation, we have come to realize how much of a threat the disease is among men aged 50 years and above and have the awareness of diagnosis is paramount to helping fight the onset of the disease. 1 in 8 men will suffer from Prostate Cancer in their lifetime which comes down to 1 in 4 for black males. There is also significant increases in your risk if you have a hereditary condition which can be passed down to younger generations. Preventing the onset through proper checks, awareness of symptoms and medical treatments is at the forefront of Prostate Cancer UK's work.
Live Love Sport is passionate and dedicated to raising awareness and funds for research and awareness in 2020 and hopes that you will be keen to support a number of sports based initiatives that will help spread vital information to men who play, watch and are fanatical about sport across the UK.
We hope you can join us, have some fun and support a great cause.
This is Roundhead - our charity horse for 2020.
Live Love Sport have teamed up with Richard Phillips Racing to offer membership to a horse racing syndicate for this season and help raise funds for Prostate Cancer UK.
Only 25 shares are available to be an owner of the gorgeous "Roundhead" - a chestnut gelding with a great future over flat and hurdles. By joining the syndicate, you will become one of a select group of owners who will have access to the training and racing of Roundhead as he competes around the UK. The syndicate already has some famous racing names in its circle and its ambassador is Jeff Stelling of Sky Sports Soccer Saturday fame.
You can join the team by buying a share for 1000.00 GBP which covers the training fees for the horse for this year. All monies that are then won by the horse will be split 50/50 with one half returning to the owners and the other being donated to Prostate Cancer UK.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take part in owning a race horse for the year with a small investment that will go to a great cause. The syndicate also has the opportunity to take part in other horse racing related activities including racing days and golf days further in the year.
